Default LQ4 in a 1965 Chevelle - What stock exh. manifolds fit?

im finishing up my LQ4/4L80E swap into my 1965 Chevelle(4 Door), im using BRP mounts and a LH8 Oil pan Kit

i got the stock lq4 passenger side exhaust manifold on and it fit perfectly, when went to put on my stock drivers side manifold(which is shorter in length and "thicker" than the passengers side manifold) it just wouldnt go on - the collecter hits the frame.

are there any "stock gm" drivers side manifold that i could use? i have a pair of stock f-body(2001 ss) sitting in my garage, should i give those a shot?

thanks everyone!

I would try the F-body manifolds. I used 94 Firebird on my 65 Goat and they fit fine.

94? i thought the ports were different(are you running a LTx or a sbc style engine?)

ill have to give the drivers side fbody manifold a shot today

has anyone else had luck with any other manifolds for the drivers side on a a-body?

Oops must have been a 99, sorry.

I've got a 2004 GTO engine.

We used a 2000 Camaro driver's side exhaust manifold and the LQ9 Passenger side exhaust manifold on my son's 66 GTO. Worked great!!!

the magic combo ended up being LQ4 Manifold on the Passengers side and a fbody(01 ss) manifold on the drivers side(close but im happy that it works)
