Default 65 Nova Wagon Ignition

I just installed a 3.8L, out of a 01 camaro, into my 65 Nova Wagon. I pulled the entire engine and harness from the car. Which wire actually turns everything on? The car already had a resistor installed for the VAST. Is this the only wire that goes to the key?

When I hook up the battery, the guages turn on. The Airbag Light is blinking also. I was thinking nothing would come on until I figured out how to hook up a switch for the ignition. I do not have the original ignition switch.

What are the 2 column switches for? Anyone know what the black box is for?

Also, I do not have the BCM. From what I have read, I still should be able to run the car once I make a 50HZ signal module for the injectors?

Thanks for any help.

The second pic is your starter switch there is a little rod or small cable that activates the switch. The rod or cable comes from the key switch itself.

With regards to the VATs, you are correct. You dont need the resistor ignition key. You only need to make sure the PCM sees a 50Hz signal when the vehicle is cranking. There are modules for sale on EBAY that do this or you can make your own circuit with a 555 timer.
