I have the Jeep steering box in my 1970 442 and I'm not at this point yet.
I'm down for the winter.

I'm not sure what high pressure line I'm going to use yet, but I heard a 1985 Monte Carlo works.
I'm also doing the LY6 / T-56 upgrade and I'm basically at the same point you are right now.

You need adapter fittings that convert from oring to flare style so you can use STOCK high pressure lines for any steering box you choose.

Lee manufacturing is out of business, but Protouringtexas.com has them instock.

Can any one confirm these lifters as the LS7 replacement lifters?

And do they usually show up looking dirty? There are no signs of wear but the outer cases are discolored.

Used Protouringtexas adapter plates so I can run the factory LS ac compressor. And tacked their spacer plate to the motor stands. Goin to fit every thing again to make sure before I weld it up solid.

I have my complete harness with fuse box that I'm not going to use, if anyone can use it let me know, it's from a 2007 silverado 2500 ly6 option gen 4.

I did some inventory of parts I got with the car, found these center caps and beauty rings. The caps where wrapped in news paper from 1982 and in an original BF Goodrich bag, they say made in Canada so they must be original gm parts! Wonder what they are worth?

One ring does have a small bit of damage but nothing that effects it being used.

I was too, but in the end this was a better choice than a T cut and a large hammer. I've only had the engine in twice, instead five or more times to check fitment.

Changed my backing plates after discovering mine were, some how, bent. Installed a stainless brake line kit. Came out pretty nice, all of the bends were close enough and didn't require to much modification to fit just right. I plan to change the location of the distribution block, I've seen to many people with headers issues not to plan ahead now.

I'm using the hooker a body Ls swap headers, fit was great other than touching the bell housing near the starter, but was an easy fix.

Made quick work of the header clearance issue. But now it looks like Trans xmember will have to be modified to fit around the exhaust.
