My opinion is this is the wrong choice, but, it is not my car,or my money. You bought the car, so do what you want to it, and we will all be watching the transformation from an original survivor to, what I'm sure will be, and awesome street machine.

good luck

I said SS nose swap, hadnt thought of the rear window swap, that would have been neat! Why would it matter if your changing things anyway?

After I add the ss nose I may add a his and hers sunroof. Blwn1 hate to say it but you were one of the engineers that helped me make up my mind to keep it.

Do the old sunrood like the 70s nova with the sliding vinyl top, that would be neat. Your mind was made up or you would have posted in the for sale section first. Neat car, would love to have had it.

nicely put! was going to add more of an opinion after I saw the ss nose intention, cause I would leave the cosmetics as nice as they are and do a bad *** twin turbo motor and suspension upgrades... but hell its his money, doesnt matter what he paid for it, if he has the money to do what he wants with it, go for it! doesnt matter if its this one or one in worse condition its all relative to the amount of money in your pocket right now!

Absolute way to go - going to be an awesome sleeper. And, hey if you ever want to restore it - sounds like the mods your going to do can be reversed back to original (but really, what fun is that!)

Please post the build - can't wait to see.....

I think you made the right decision. Make it clean and factory looking and you will have a really nice car when you are done.

Have you thought about the suspension? are ATS/Speedtech Spindles an option?
