Default Front ride height going from all iron to aluminum motor

I have a 2nd gen TA and going from iron headed gen 1 motor to LS1. How much was ride height was affected? What springs were used if you had this? Car is a WS6 so springs are stiff and already have been cut to lower car, so that's not an option. I'm thinking springs designated for a v-6 car might be what is needed. Anyone? Anyone?

Contact protouring f-body. They can help you out. Don't guess and spend money where you don't have to. Yes, WS6 springs will be a little much now that you've shaved 1-200lbs off the car.

IMHO, you're going to be pretty close using v6 springs. If not, at least it will be pretty cheap to try....then decide if you want to go aftermarket or not.

Moog 5610's are perfect that's what I'm running I tried the stock springs at first and could hardley push down on the front end. Todd80z28 over at nastyz28 is the man for these type of questions he is running the same spring as well with no issues. Also your local parts store can have them in a day for around 60 bucks

Get the QA1 adjustables. The price is reasonable, they bolt right in and you will never have issues with ride height. I went from a SBC to a LS1 in my 72 Camaro and all it took was a few turns of the wrench to get it right.
