Default LS1 into 1987 Firebird wiring info.

Use this information at your own risk.

Ok I'm starting the wiring on my brother in laws project. we are installing a 1999 LS1 Auto into a 1987 formula Firebird 305 auto. Its starting out simple No ABS No A/C No Traction control No emissions No VATS No rear O2 sensors

I bought a complete pull out engine with wiring harness and ecm ect... also had them give me the vehicle side of all the wiring connectors I needed. (connector and about a foot of wires)


Please feel free to let me know if I'm missing anything or wrong on any connections. Thanks
It looks like I need to connect the following from my 6 connectors;
Lines in Bold type need to be hooked up.

C100 (10 pin) passenger side fender well
A; power feed from injector fuse 9 (ignition power hot when in run/start)
B; A/c (not used for this project)
C; A/c (not used for this project)
D; Reference voltage feed 5 volt reference (not sure if I need)
E; Throttle position sensor signal (don't think I need)
F; No wire
G; Power feed from ignition fuse (needs to hook to ignition on power source)
H; Cooling fan relay output (will use this one or next one to run the single fan from the 87 car)
J; Cooling Fan relay output (see above)

K; Sensor return (not sure)

C101 (10 pin) passenger fender well
A; VATS (not used will disable with EFI Live)
B; Fuse output ignition 1 type 3 fuse (ignition power hot when in run/start)
C; Idle speed control motor feed retract (not sure)
D; Idle speed motor feed extend or fuel pump relay output? (to fuel pump relay?)
E; Fuse output ignition 1 type 3 fuse (ignition power hot when in run/start)
F; no wire
G; Fuse output battery type 3 fuse (fused constant battery positive)
H; engine control module ground (ground)
J; no wire
K; ignition retard signal (not used)

C102 (1 pin) passenger side fender well
Purple starter engage (hook to start wire from ignition switch or relay)

C105 (8 pin) passenger fender well
A; NO WIRE
B; Fuse output ignition (ignition power hot when in run/start)
C; NO WIRE
D; Cruise control (not Used yet)
E; NO WIRE
F; Cruise control (not used yet)
G; Tachometer signal (to dash tach)
H; Air injection (not used)

C220 (10 pin) under dash connector pass side

A; oil pressure feed (to dash)
B; No wire
C; Fuse output ignition (ignition power hot when in run/start)
D; Brake pedal switch (hook to brake switch pos or neg??)
E; ground (ground)

F; No wire
G; No wire
H; Neutral safety switch (hooked to car to stop start in gear)
J; VATS (not used)
K; Vehicle speed signal output (to dash speedo)

C230 (10 pin) under dash connector pass side
A; reference voltage feed 5 volt (not sure)
B; service engine soon (to dash ses light)
C; Canister vent valve (not used)
D; No wire
E; VATS (not used)
F; A/c (not used)
G; Sensor return (Not sure)
H; Fuel tank pressure (not used)
J; Fuel gauge sensor signal (to fuel tank level switch?)
K; Serial data buss (wired to OBD2 Port under driver side dash)
