Nice build. ALOT of hard work went into it, but it sure looks worth it. What braided hose and fittings did you use?

thanks,
Jim

Thanks man! Yah, I love these cars. My next build is gonna be a cruiser/road race setup 240z with a RB26dett motor. It will be awhile though, since I am ironing out the bugs on this one still. 10.4 is great for a IRS 240z, glad to see some people are doing good work with them. I would have stayed with IRS but these cars get unstable at 145+ and I plan on trapping in that range, so the solid axle is just safer.

Jimbo, I used the summit brand braided hose and pretty much all summit fittings. I had some issues with a few of their fittings, but they have top notch customer service and helped me out without question.

The hose I use http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-240820B/

Very nice build. I look forward to seeing what times it lays down in the future. Oh and not all the cars on hybridz are slow.

Glad to see you on here Liz! I've followed you on PHR and at Boyd's shop, all I can say is wow, what a class fabricator (and easy on the eyes, too)...

Tirso San Juan down here in miami area has a nasty datsun Z with a SBC and a boat load of juice. his car i have heard is a low 8 sec car and it hooks up on the street. if i ran in to any of your cars on the street i would know better then to even try. those cars are so great for lsx conversion and done right they look so dam good.

One afternoon I was sitting in front of the tv eating dinner and I hear a noise. I didn't know what was making such a ruckus outside as this time of year I'm not used to hearing tough car sounds going by. I peek out my window and there is Mr Fosta!

The Z sounds great! It was really nice to see it up and running, I know how many late laborious nights he has put into this car. Now that the rings are seated and broken in, I want a ride!

Also, as a Holley person, I'm glad to hear you're stoked on the pump!

Updated the build a bit, I have a new fuel pump and FPR setup. Also, the car is up and running again with a new cam that is a "bit" more aggressive. Ill see if I can get a video clip without my phone distorting.
