Default Oil pan help

Ok I've got an LS2 out of a 2005 Chevy SSR with a T56. I am putting it into a 1970 Chevy C/10 truck with a 1991 Corvette C4 suspension with a full round tube chassis. I'm trying to use the stock front subframe of the vette but with the big front sump pan of the SSR I'm having clearance issues with the pan and sub frame. Does anyone know if there is a deep rear pan for a front sump? I'm brand new into the LS game and need as much input as I can get. Any advice would be great! thanks

Check out the stickys at the top of the forum. Lots of info with pics and dimensions for pans

GTO pan is the main front sump commonly available. Common truck pan is about the deepest rear sump

Ok thanks I will, do you know if a front sump works with a rear sump pan by just changing pick up tubes or is there more to it then that?

Just changing the pickup tubes. I had a GTO pan, front sump, and needed a rear sump, Hummer H3 pan, and just swapped the pan, windage tray (should come in the pan anyway) and pickup tube. Good to go.

Sounds like a good project, any pic's when you have the chance?
