That's a slick little deal, I tossed the same idea around for a bit, until I moved to sate that has emissions testing... I'm a little Jealous!

The 300 is one of my all time favorite cars. I'm glad to see this conversion. Be sure and post up video when it is done!

Are you planning on racing it?

Nice build, I had a 93TT with the JWT package back in the day. That car scooted. I think it was one of my favorite cars I've owned. Sold it in '99. The only thing I couldn't stand on that car were the shitty brakes. they really need an upgrade to some bigger pistons/rotors. The braking package just was not enough for the heft of the overall car.

Some updated pics. Harness is being wired up, drive shaft is done, should be firing it up by next weekend!

Looks good, but I wonder how much you changed your steering geometry moving the crossmember and rack down like that. You may have significant bumpsteer as a result.

I'd like to hear more about this. I may acquire a 1991 TT with a bum auto transmission and stock everything else.

I cut my crossmember when I did my swap and it does have some bumpsteer, this winter I plan on removing the engine and cutting the firewall for better weight distribution and to move the steering rack back up. Beautiful car btw, I should have gotten one in white!

Finally updating. Fired the car up the other day and idles fine. Everything is ok minus a few bugs. Taking the car out to Toys for Tots this weekend in Durham for the car show to show it for the first time. No exhaust on it but we are driving it up there anyways! Here is the video of the very first start up!

*Id definitely recommend LS1 Excitement. My turn around time is defferent bc he worked on my car inbetween other customers cars and I was fine with that. He specialized in LSx motors and motor swaps. Literally not much the shop cant do in terms of stuffing an LSx into something

Sweet build man. Really clean how you did the hood latches and its pretty slick how that intake fits down there. Don't drive into any puddles though! Those babies sit low.

Nice build for sure. Paul go do my 6.2 swap for me in my camaro. You are right. He is a real stand guy and he knows his stuff. I can't wait to get my car to him.
