67 Camaro LS1 Rear Brakes
So I want to put in Ls1 brakes on my 67 Camaro. What parts do I need from the dinar car in order to do this conversion. Do I need to buy a bracket or is this more of a direct Bolton swap.

I think you'll need everything from 2 right sides due to the shock set-up on 67's....
But here are a few ideas from what others have done...

Sorry. Here a link to the rear calipers. They are a copy of a GM "metric" front caliper such as used on 80s Monte Carlo, Regal, etc and take a stock front pad. They fit great with the late 70s Trans Am 1" thick rear rotors but you need the adaptor brackets that are made for the smaller calipers. http://www.onedirt.com/news/new-prod...cing-calipers/ You want part # 120-6427 for a 1.25" thick rotor. On the front I have stock 69 Camaro disc brake rotors, dust shields and caliper brackets but went with Wilwood Aluminum large style GM calipers like these.. http://www.stockcarproducts.com/brakes8.htm on the front you want part # 120-5289 The front uses a stock 69-81 Camaro brake pad and the rear uses a slightly smaller stock 3rd gen Camaro, Malibu, Monte Carlo etc Front pad. I don't know what the going price is for the "kits" but I probably have aroud $600 invested in the whole setup including the rear brackets, new rotors, master cylinder & prop valve & the 4 calipers, maybe slightly more. This should be a great setup for normal street driving but is probably not suited for severe racing use.

Correction. For a 69 you have staggered shocks. So you need 2 L/H backing plates and calipers. They didn't stagger shocks until 68. So you should need just a R/H and L/H backing plate with calipers. I know its a old thread just bumping for informational purposes
