Default Need wiring harness suggestions...

Using a truck motor in an 2002 V6 F-Body... I need a non $700 + solution to my wiring harness needs

It will be running an 4L60E.

Can a truck harness be converted and how hard is it?

I remember seeing a harness for around $300 - $400 but can't remember who made it.

PSI is who I used

did the car not come with a v8? if it did you could change the intake on the truck motor to a car intake and rails and use the stock harness

Nope. Came with a V6. Swapping

PSI wants $800 for an F-Body LS1 Wiring Harness

I'm wondering if I get a truck motor if I'll be so lucky to attain one with a decent wiring harness.

What is their website?

http://secure.ultracart.com/catalog/...ing-Harnesses/ ???

Also with a stand alone harness, will this include EVERYTHING I need for an F-Body? Will all my gauges function? will the fans be wired? Also what about the emissions? no rear O2 Sensors? I guess I can delete those but Im just wondering here.

That is awsome and I appreciate your effort and assistance too... ...but I have an 2002 and an Auto so that won't work

Why not buy a used 99-02 Fbody LS1 harness. No point in using a brand new stand alone for a conversion into a car that could have came with the engine

That would be a preferred route but they are kinda hard to come by. Most junkyards butcher the wiring harness to remove it.

I know that this wouldn't be the cheapest route to take, but have you called around to any dealerships to see if any new ones are still available?? That's where I got my L92 harness, it was around $350 if I remember correctly...

Post a thread in the Wanted section. I'm sure someone on here has a wiring harness for you.

Just watch ebay. They are for sale almost everyday. There are two for sale right now that are 6 speed harnesses. You could always buy one of those and add the wires for the automatic.
