Can anyone possibly tell me exactly where the o-ring in front of torque tube ends up once bearing is seated in front on the C5 6spd model, Once rear snap ring is in & impeller shaft is completely seated I need to know where the oring is in relation to bearing and if the tin dust cover is even with front bearing tube, I had to extend a drive shaft 7" as I am building a 57 Chevy with complete C5 Drive train & before Shaft is sent out for welding I want to make sure everything is where it is suppose to be in relation to the stock shaft ?? Factory manuals dont tell you & shaft was out of torque tube when I purchased car.
