Default TR6060 in Chevelle?

I haven't seen anyone go this route yet but I'm thinking about it.

Shifter sits back a bit more from what I've seen. Hopefully not too far back to not feel right.

Also no more slip yoke...Should be able to have drive shaft made?

A local guy bought it for $2K with hydraulics/pedals from another local. Well he decided not to use and hasn't been able to sell. Maybe I'll do for $1700? That is if not too much needs to be done.

I am looking at this also.

I don't really want to go through the whole change out of the shifter and new yoke.

Im not turning 1000 hp so I want to use a stock camaro driveshaft in my 70 gto.

Its a nice piece of hardware, I am also afraid the "remote" shifter is way to far back...

edit...

this guy is doing it...

I was just reading the thread and if I read right that shifter just bolts on? So the only expense for me would be the driveshaft.

I already bought the clutch that was in the car (3k miles) with the TR6060. It's the Spec Billet ST Super Twin. Rated for 1595 tq and is very street friendly! Retails for $1800-$2000...I bought for $550!
