Default where does that connector go?

I did a 5.3 conversion into my jeep, and theres one connector I cant seem to find on the motor. I don't have my camera to take a pic yet, but its a 3 pin connector with black, grey, and red wires. the weatherproof seal on the connector is purple. any idea?

sounds like the MAF sensor to me. is it close to the throttle body? in the same group of wires that go to the throttle body?

in order to get a definate answer, you should probably snap a picture tho. a lot of connectors look a like, esp from people's memories.

Yeah I'll snap a pic tomorrow. Another hint: The wires are long like they go under and around the engine. And the connector is small an round with 2 pins on top 1 on the bottom

coolant temp sensor?does it attach to the harness by the left front side of the engine? That style connector is only used for coolant sensors on certain years and TPS Sensor on t-body. What year harness?

"I totally forgot about the xxxx" usually means several hours of extra work, so I try to keep fresh on everything
