Thanks for taking time to reply....and thanks for service to our country.
It looks to me like the cts-v pan is shallower at the front and the sump doesn't drop down until further back, BUT that's just from looking at pics on here.

No numbers yet, but I'll be hunting for 10s NA when it's all said and done.
You need to start looking for a rear setup dude, I think that 383 will definitely be rowdy enough to turn that 10 bolt into pieces even with street tires (it takes just one good bite, lol)

That would be pretty cool, I'd like to see my old 383 setup vs my LS!

You would embarrass me probably pretty bad with the crazy LS top end pull and the 3spd auto vs. 6spd disadvantage if my 10 bolt didn't explode instantly on launch ....a road course or curvy mountain road would be a whole another story though

I know it's got the weaker 4.10's too...at least it's got a girdle First and second are pretty useless even with 315mm street tires....sometimes 3rd too. So far so good, but no track time yet or aggressive launches or I just make a bunch of smoke.

What headers and clutch setup would be best in a swap like this? I take it as they both have to be ls based bc the bolt pattern on the block. Will ls fbody longtubes fit in a 95 z28?

So I would need to get ls headers and clutch? Can't use my lt1 stuff... if I change my t56 bellhousing and input shaft can I use my lt1 slave cylinder and clutch fork

I see you're in Atl....I'm about 100 miles south. I haven't done a swap yet, but researched it alot awhile back and even gathered up some parts for the swap before deciding to just stay LT1 to suit my current budget. If I can help any let me know.

I'm actually about 30 miles south of Atl.... It's funny bc I have no idea what I want to do now... Got hoed by the guy who built my motor, he decked but didn't square... So after going thru my second round of head gaskets, I've decided to take a break and chill... I've narrowed down to a couple choices, either learn and save all I can so I can go lq swap or take my two lt1 motors and go either 383 or 355 n2o. I'm looking for a nice street build that I can take to the track and drive up and down the east coast...
