Question battery positive feeds.

The harness I am using is 2000 firebird and has 3 feeds coming off of the positive side of the battery. One for the starter, one for the fuse block and one for the alternator. I am putting the battery in the trunk and would like to run one wire to the starter and from the starter to the fuse block and alternator. Will I hurt something (PCM) by doing this? Or should I have to run all three cables back to the trunk?

I have been running mine that way for a couple years now. Just be sure to use a heavy enough gauge wire. I found some left over by Com Ed for electrical service for a house. It is #000. I have heard of other going to a welding supply store.

I used a junction block found under the hood of my silverado pickup truck. It is just what the doctor ordered. I take my cable from the trunk the jucntion box, then one to the fuse block and one to the starter. Done and it looks decent, at least as good as my factory Silverado. I mounted it to the backside of the passenger head. You might find a picture of it in my signature, not really sure, so have a look.
