69 Camaro SS Vert LS1, T56 & 12 Bolt 3.73
Here's my 69 Camaro SS Vert now with an LS1, T56 & the 12 Bolt Posi with 3.73 gears. Hopeful of installing a Speed Tech rear, Detroit Speed frame connectors and someday an Art Morrison front end!

Here's mine, just got it on the road in September. Still needs a few things, mostly interior. LS1 & 4L60E from a 2000 TA WS6, ebay SS headers, 2.5" Summit duals over the axle, ebay tubular A-arms with Moog ball joints, IROC 12.7:1 steering box, Global West subframe connectors, Hotchkis leafs, freshened up 10-bolt with open 2.73's, Dakota Digital gauges, rebuilt factory tilt column, '97 Camaro seats, Morris 3-point belts, all new American Autowire modern wiring, Optima in the trunk... Really happy with how everything came out so far.

Very nice. Are you running the low mount factory LS1 alternator?
How do you like the steering box?
What model B&M shifter?
Thanks

Yes, I'm running the low mount alternator. I have BRP mounts & crossmember, which set the motor higher than most other kits from what I hear. I'm also running their LH8 pan, which still sticks below the crossmember by about an inch. I think the higher mounts are to try to correct for this, and they include shims for the tranny mount to get the drive angles correct. I'll be going with a Holley pan if I ever have to pull the motor. Just wanted to get it on the road, and the drivetrain I bought came with the pan & mounts.
I love the steering box. It's nothing special, just whatever the local O'Reilly/ Advance / Autozone showed for an IROC. Firmer feel, no dead spot, and very noticeably quicker than the original box.
B&M Quicksilver shifter. It took a couple tries to get one that didn't have the indicator needle broken off in shipping, but once I got a good one, I love it. I have a friend that does LS swaps and pro touring stuff for a living, and he said it's his favorite shifter of anything he's messed with. I plan to build a custom console around it in the next year or so. Daily drivers need cupholders!
