Default 84 Regal T-type

Resurrecting my 84 Regal T-type with 53K original miles which has been off the road since 1997. The aftermarket support for the non intercooled 3.8 V6 is not there. Any ideas for an LS based swap? Undecided if I want to have an automatic or manual trans behind it. I live in Nevada also which has just about adopted California smog laws so it will definitely have to be able to pass smog. I am also aware that I will have to convert it to an OBD II system.

I agree the support is not there for non intercooled, but you can easily find everything factory needed to convert to intercooled

I have everything you need to converted to Intercooler if you want. I also have an 85 with a 6.0 and auto tranny but I dont think it will pass inspection

Default HA options

I thought of finding all the parts to convert it over to 86-87 IC style but the LS motors are so much more efficient and easier to make some power. I do plan on making it smog legal but trying to get a few suggestions for powertrain choices. Here in Nevada, I can register it as a "classic" vehicle as long as the mileage is 7500 miles or less per year which will exempt it from smog inspection every other year. I do plan on keeping the 3.8 and trans if I ever sell the car and the new owner wants to return it to original.
