Hey I know that car! I especially like the seats.

Seriously though, I'm super jealous. Your engine and engine compartment look awesome.

Great car, would be neat if you left the car weathered looking with that fancy engine in it. Should be alot of fun!

Its exactly the look im going with... im leaving the interior stock but redone, cleaning the original bright work, and i dropped the 20 gallon fuel cell in the floor and cut the top out of the original gas tank so when you look under the car,you cant see the 9"rear or the sump of the cell and the electric fuelpump and fuel lines. Keeping it all hidden...under the hood is going to be 100% immaculant and the rest original and worn

Badass! Did you mean moved forward 2" or up. Are you going to be able to use the factory flat hood?

He means up (as in up towards the hood) not forward. The mounting brackets will push the engine back towards the firewall, putting it in the approximate stock location. You can probably get the plates that push the engine back an additional inch too, as there is plenty of room before the firewall.

I don't have the front end (fenders, hood, etc) on my car right now, but I am using the tall truck intake and I can see clearly that it will clear the hood. Not 100% sure about his setup, but I am thinking his hood will close too.

Default update

ive been wrenching on the car for a bit and changed a few things since i first posted..

ive put in navigation, full stereo system
classic auto air
gto power leather seats
custom autometer dash
ls3 with prc 255 heads
lunati link bar lifters
7.600 pushrods
holley hi ram
1 7/8 headers
elite performance catch can
yella terra rockers
built t56
235/239 cam
mcloed rxt twin disc clutch
wilwood 6 piston all 4 corners
bmw hid projector headlights
holley hp efi system

and test drove it ran great so far, driving down 695 at 60 mph my left rear axle studs broke off pissed me off, right after i got it alighned

but so far so good, working out some bugs, and also figured out how to get a 2010 camaro ls3 alternator to work without a pcm and resistors, i chopped and cut the frame to get the motor deep in the chassis so i didnt have to run a cowl hood
