Default Oil cooler lines too close to headers

My swap is a 71 chevy truck, 6.0 lq4 w l92 heads, carbed, and shorty headers from hooker. I realize my header choice may have to go due to clearance and overall power, but money is severly short right now. My problem is when I installed oil cooler lines and block onto motor, everything got real tight in a hurry. There is maybe 3-5" of clearance between the hard line coming out of block and header collector. I have cpp aftermarket motor mounts and stands, the lines are also right up against the bottom of mounts, is this going to be a torque problem? I have read these lines, in stock form, are a leak waiting to happen. Has anyone else dealt w these issues? I know there are a ton of these trucks w this swap out there, someone please help, I think I'm losing what little sanity I had.
