Default Transmission Pans

I am using a 4L60E in my Nova Swap.. it should be lowered some. Not sure how much clearance I will have around the pan. maybe 4", Once i get it on the ground with full weight, gas, coolant, trans I will see what the final ground clearance is.

What are you guys using for Trans pans. Was considering using a deep Cast Aluminum pan or even the Derale 14204.. anyone use this pan ? (Does it use the standard or deep pickup ?)

thanks

Most of the flow cooler pans use a stock filter/pickup. Beware, I have seen some leak at the cooling tubes, not much but some seepage. I usually use the cast stock depth alum pans, sand blast and paint satin black. Never had a problem with one yet. Some will use a spacer for the filter if they are truck/deep pans.
