Porsche LS1 Idle
I still have a problem with my LS1 staying on after a start up.
Warm or cold my LS1 will start ramp up and settle down to almost a low rpm rumble until it dies.
Once I feather the throttle for more than 10 seconds it will idle almost normal and stay on.
It actually feels like the ICV (idle control valve) isnt working. But to verify that its working I swapped the ICV with my BMW LS1's ICV.
To make matters worse, my tunner has dissapeared after his partner gave up working with him in these hard times.
Anyway, so far I have replaced and or swapped MAF, ICV, air temp sensor.
Next payday I will replace the O2 sensors since its been the only thing I have not bought new so far.
Any other ideas guys?

Can you list your engine mods?
If the engine has a cam, it sounds like the running airflow table is way off. If that's the issue, you're pedaling it until the computer can adjust the IAC far enough inline to let it idle.
On a slightly related note, if you're waiting on payday's to throw more parts at it, you really need to stop blindly buying parts to try and fix it. What you're describing sounds very tune related to me.
