gen 4 5.3/6L80E into 92 mustang questions hey guys, this is my first lsx project so i'm pretty new but what i've got so far is a iron block 5.3, a th350 and a 92 mustang, decent suspension mods and aje k member, well recently i came across the chance to get the motor, trans, harness, and computer from a 09 truck that has an aluminum block 5.3 wih 243 heads and a 6l80 behind it.
so my questions are: can i make this work as a stand alone and still use the 6l80e trans behind it and be able to get it tuned and run nitrous or turbo (future options..) my biggest concern is making the 6l80 work behind it and being able to run a big stall convertor. i know there are all kinds of write ups on ls1 fbody harness modifications but from my understanding some of the pins are different on the truck harness. and i know about the drive by wire bs so i'd have to put the gas pedal in and all that b.s. and as big as the 6l80 is, i'll probably have to modify the floor pan to make it fit but thats no biggie..
