Welcome to the best LS website around. Sounds like a really cool swap you
have going on there. Check in the hybrids and conversions section for useful
info. Also make sure to use accurate sentence structure as some on this
site will "bust your *****" LOL

Thats awsome, I have a 66 Buick LeSabre 2 door Hard top. I'll be looking forward to seeing your build. I should be joining you in about 8 months with my swap. I have a 5.3 that I'll be droppin in mine. I'm also looking for 6 liter myself, once I get situated.

Sounds like a cool project, how about some pictures? On the surface it sounds like you have a compatible combination. Which trans do you have? Do you know what was originally behind the engine? You may need to repin the trans connector to make some swaps work. This is the place to find that info.
Spend some time looking at the stickys, lots of good stuff there. The oil pan will be your biggest obstacle at this point. My guess is that it will hang way too low. Don't waste time with it, just buck up and buy the right one, it will save time and dollars. If I recall that is a front steer chassis, is that right? If so you can follow most of the A body threads for the basics.

Default I’m starting this swap

Maaaan I hope you’re still doing your car thing man. I just purchased a 65 LeSabre with no motor or trans and im going to put the drivetrain and whatever else I can from my 2010 Camaro SS in it. I just know whit this frame it’s really difficult to do that.
My question is what mounts did you use for the 5.3? And any advice on the process or problems you ran into? I realize it’s over a decade later but better late then never 👍🏿
