Default Mock up of my new old 5.3 in a '37 Chevy

They're still rusty, and I'm going to have to find another air cleaner assembly that fits a 4 barrel, but this is the first time I've gotten to see a rough idea of what my engine is actually going to look like. I'm going to paint the engine orange, do silver lettering on the Chevrolet scripts and the air cleaner will be black. More or less just going for an old 265/283/327 look.

It's a '37 Chevy 4 door. 5.3 from a 2003 Silverado. GM single plane intake and eventually, an Accufab 4150 (now just a cardboard box). 4L60E with a Ford 8.8 that has 3.27 gears.

Nice build. You need any 37 Chev parts? I've been playing with them for 20+ years. I usually part one or two out a year.

Thanks Norm, just saw your reply. As of right now I have everything I need, but that will probably change in the future so I'll be sure to keep you in mind when it comes up.

The only thing I can think of right now is a grille, but I've been noticing what they go for and I don't have the cash just yet.

Thanks,
Brandon
