LS1/ monte carlo fuel pump problems

LS1/ monte carlo fuel pump problems we put a 2001 z-28 LS1 in 1977 monte carlo.
Got pasted CA smog a couple weeks ago. Now the fuel pump won't kick on. I jumped the contacts in the fuse / relay base . the pump still didn't kick on.
I'm planning to get under it and pull out fuel pump connect and check power there.
Anyone heard of any random issues like this.
The car has the factory harness and computers ( PCM and BCM )
