LOL... I used LS6 springs GM part #12499224 and they were only $56 for all of them. They worked on my 4.8L so I would assume they work on 6.0L.

Me either, but I'm pretty sure there's only one GM replacement spring for all LS engines now (except maybe the LS-7)...

Springs are cheap so you might as well buy some you know for certain will work. That being said almost everything else on these motors is interchangeable so it would stand to reason that if they are not the same the are likely very similar. Of course there might be a small yet significant difference, and if so it could be enough to make using them a bad idea.

Here you go.. http://sdparts.com/details/gm-perfor...parts/12499224

Hope this helps.. people have used LS6 spring all of the time on other models of the Gen III / IV engines.. One thing about the LS6 heads, LS6 valves are 0.6mm or 0.023622" longer, hollow stem intake, and hollow stem sodium filled exhaust valves. Not sure where the difference is made up at.. which is one reason you have to use longer push rods when you use an LS6 cam in a LS1....(7.45" vs 7.40")

Some Key specs are height and width of the spring when installed, also should be careful about coil binding when at max lift. as well as inter Spring Diag.

Spring Diag = 1.250
Installed Height = 1.800

but I am pretty sure you should not have any issue with most stock to mid lift cam's. Most GM stock cam are under 5.50".. that is why the spec out the LS6 spring and other as Max lift to 5.70" in usage.
