Bow Auto in NH. I got mine shipped here to MD LITERALLY 26 hours after I paid for it. Prices start at $750 for a complete 5.3, up to like $1600 for a low miles 6.0. They also have 4.8s and they may have some 6.2s too. They are super friendly and helpful....really great people.

Shipping only cost me $100, but I had to have it delivered to a commercial address.

You can try your luck in salvage yards or craigslist, but I looked for months and found nothing there.

you can shop around and find some high mileage stuff for that price range. i just bought a 30k mile 5.3 engine and trans package for $3250.00 I love it i would not take $4000.00 for it!! my buddy just bought a complete package for $1300.00 it had 229k miles on it. he found his on www.car-part.com good luck with the hunt.

I found a couple GTOs nearby on car-parts.com, but ended up getting an 02 Camaro LS1/4L60e w/ 58k on Ebay for $3400. Was $500 to ship from CA but well worth it.

I know what you are saying right there. i spun a rod bearing in my t/a and i tried to be a tight wad and be a cheap *** and i bought a burned one. it turned out to have water on top of the piston from the fire department putting it out. so it returned it and got my money back on that one. i paid $900.00 for this one. then i went a bought a good runner for $1500.00

I have also bought from them, $750 for a 108kmi 5.3 complete, but I also live in NC so shipping was a tad higher. 6 mo warranty
