ls1 t56 in a s10 questions yes i searched
I rebuilt my ls1 made it into a 383 stroker v2 tsp cam and tsp 215 heads with a ls6 intake. I am wanting to put it in a s10. Wanting to keep fuel injection so i can still use a ls1 wiring harness and ecu right? I am going to use a different tach and speedo also. What will i have to do for pumping the fuel? I am making this into a sleeper and am going to spend about 1000 on the s10. Any help or opinions will help

Depending on the S10 you get, you may be able to use the stock pump and filter. If it's a flex fuel truck, the stock pump and filter will work and all you have to do is make a piece of fuel line to go from the filter outlet to a non-return style fuel rail on your LS motor. Not sure about the process for other trucks though. I'm currently working on swapping an L33/T56 into my S10, can check out my build thread in my sig if you want. Actual swap is about a month out.

I got figure spend 500 ish on the roller just want a bench seat one like yours. What size is the stock rear in those s10? Im gonna miny tub mine for sure and widen some junky looking rims. Did the cowl trac bars work good? I put em on a 70 challenger and it really helps keep it going straight on a hard launch. Ill probably try to keep the ac though. Do you think i could get the stock ls1 rad to fit with some new mounts?

Stock rear is a 7.5/7.625 ring gear unit. I've seen people fit Corvette radiators into S10's, not sure if it's out of an LS1 Vette or not though, but you can also run a stock 4.3 radiator for the swap which is a fairly common route for people.
