Yes sir, that part I understand. The other end of the harness has a plug on it too.
This is the plug that plugs into the trans. There are multiple wires same color

This is the other end of the harness and I need to figure out which yellow and black wire corresponds to the yellow and black wire at the other end. There are also two white wires on this one and only one on the trans end

What is this harness off of? The other end should be the harness that hooks to the PCM. It looks like you have two trans connectors, is that what I'm seeing? Is that the harness inside the trans?

2001 Corvette. This one has a plug on the trans and a long harness that plugs into another plug that goes to the PCM. I will get in there and run a continuity test to find out which yellow and black wire is which....

Can someone tell me if the transmission fluid temp can be turn off/on feature that my tuner can do.

I bought a scan gauge 2 reader and was hoping to read transmission fluid temperature but it doesn't pickup a signal from the ECU. Can this be turned on/off by the tunner?
Thanks for any info.
The scan gauge 2 can be programmed to read the trans temp and many other PIDs. let me know if you need any coding, I’ve figured a lot of them out thru HPtuners and tuning software
