Ls oil pan and motor mount options for 67 camaro
I have a L76 out of a 09 G8 and I am putting it in my 67 Camaro - stock frame, tubular a arms, and coil overs.
Are there any motor mounts that will allow you to use the factory L76 A/C compressor without notching the frame?
Also, what is a good/reasonable priced oil pan? Does anyone have dimisions for cutting and modifing the stock oil pan? Haven't decided if I'm going to use the stock steering or rack and pinion yet.
Thanks for any help.
This is my first LS swap, so still tryiing to get my head wrapped around it.

Your best bet to fit that compressor is the BRP mounts. They push the engine forward a bunch. There are a lot of pan options. GM, Autokraft, Holley, etc. Depends on how much clearance you need. Im using an unmodified F body pan but mine is pushed rearward a bunch and has stock steering.

If I were you I would notch the frame or move it up top so you can sit your motor close to the fire wall and low.Much nicer in the end.If you get it back far enough you can use the f body pan,if you have clearence problems where you put it you can trim the pan a little. It wo'nt take a lot.If you do'nt want to do this I would use a holley or mast pan.

That's kind of where I am. Most people say use the autokraft pan but it is $400 plus and I'm not sure about capacity and Starving the engine in high rpm situations. I do want lots of clearance though - the autokraft is only 5.5 inches deep

Mine isn't running yet but I'm really happy with my Dirty Dingo slider mounts. It's in a 71nova. They are really nice pieces. I went with the Holley pan for what it's worth. Everyone likes pics. LOL
It's setting almost all the way back and has about 3" of adjustment.
Couple for fun, hope the ones above help.

Dirty Dingo mounts work great. Also, you may want to check about using a different AC Compressor as the G8 one is variable displacement and may cause hot/cold issues in a retrofit. Dirty Dingo sells a high mount compressor bracket as well I believe.
