Default 04 LQ4 TO 700r4

Hey guys, need some help with this...dont kno if i should get a new flexplate or not.. also if i need a spacer as in the pics it looks like it has one on there..Help me here. This is the stock flexplate and all..thanks

You already have the spacer behind the flexplate. If the convertor holes line up, you're good to go. If they don't, hog them out a little with a dremmel tool.

What are u serious....man i've been pulling my hair out with this tryn to figure out if i need the spacer or not and this engine you're telling me came stock and i can only make the holes bigger? Man that would save me 50 bucks if im good like i am.

i had mine machined. the spacer still supported the converter like its supposed to i got longer bolts and spacers to connect the flexplate and converter.
