Nah you're just looking at em wrong. Clearance issues avoided and a 78mm to help this thing to get on down the road.

I joined this website to see what people had to say or know any information that would help with swapping an LS into a 65' Plymouth Barracuda. Hemi's are a great engine if you can afford one. and I've seen Hemi's stuffed into a 65' Cuda talk about modifications. I live in Arizona so rust isn't a problem the 65' Cuda I bought is completely rust free but completely without a drive train. So why would I try to find an original 273/225HP engine and a puny 4 speed trans, and I would have to find all the accessories pully's, power steering pump, exhaust manifolds etc. would it be under $5,000 no way. Hemi under $5,000 not even close. The reason I say $5,000 is because i just bought a complete running driving 2004 GTO with a bad *** LS and 6 speed manual independent rear suspension. And I'm going every bit of that GTO that I can put into the Cuda

Come find us over on facebook, search for "LS Swapped Mopar" and it will come up. We have about 1600 people or so in that group with all different kinds of LS swaps in Mopars with a huge knowledge base for what it takes. I'm the admin over there. I really need to update my page on here. I have a build page over FABO(for a bodies only) as well as here in the conversion section. Mine is 75 Dart Swinger with a twin turbo built 370 LS1 and a th400. If

Thanks for the vote of confidence. And the link information you will definitely be hearing from me again. I haven't had my OWN project in years, Now that I'm retired life or work isn't in the way anymore. I've barely started and I've been enjoying it so much. Now I look forward to getting out of bed everyday knowing I can do it when I want, how I want, and it's mine when I get done. My only restraints: my imagination and my wallet.
