lq4 swap into 1979 camaro (twitchy steering ) Hows it going just trying to fine tune my swap now ive been driving it for the past 1000 miles. any way i have a problem. the steering feels way to responsive almost twitchy when driving down the road. any little input from me with the steering wheel cuases dramatic turning at the front wheels. Im not realy sure how to fix this. I am using the stock 2004 lq4 motor out of a 2500 hd with that power steering pump. it had hydro boost brakes on it so im not sure if im pushing to much pressure to the power steering? Is there a pressure reducing fitting i need to be using or somthing? thanks yall. im using the stock 79 steering box.

There are shims in the fitting behind the pressure line coming out of the pump.
never messed with them, just read about them yesterday.
