Default 10 Pennies

This has been an ongoing project for myself for the last few years. It started out as a simple bodydrop project and spiraled into something far from simple. Its definately a full build and is far from done, but just figured I'd share. I'll let the pics do the rest.

Out with the floors, firewall, rocker panels

Out with the old frame

New frame started, 3x3x1/4"

New rear clip, 2.5" DOM tube

Floors started

Radiused door sills

Rear suspension setup, 4 link, cantilever bag setup, watts link, 8.8 rear narrowed 14"

Front suspension setup, tube arms, rack and pinion, engine mounted
2003 Vette LS1 with a Camaro trans

Frame off the table

Back on the ground

New shiney things, Raceline speedsters 20x8.5, 20x12
Upgrade to C6 Z06 brakes

Headers, 1.75" tube into 2.5" collector, x-pipe, 2 magnaflow mufflers,v-bands

Its a little further along now, but this will do for awhile.

Why not right hand drive? I'm in Maryland, but want to see the looks on peoples face when its out driving around. Everything to do with the steering, exhaust, firewall, was all new so it was just a matter of which side to put it on.

Nice fab skills. I was looking at the pictures before the interior shot and kept thinking "is this thing going to be right hand drive?" I guess I was right. Very cool.

Thanks guys. I've built a lot of it myself, but did have help from a few friends with a little more knowledge with the frame and floors. John @ Getbored Designs has helped tremendously and I will give him credit for the frame and suspension design.

Engine will be freshened up with a new cam and just a few bolt ons. I'd love to put a Maggie on, but I want to keep a stock hood with the body drop which is hard to do, especially when you cut into the rockers.

Since no one's asked, I've got to. Surely that isn't muffler tubing you're using for frame rails? I know you said DOM, but it comes in all sizes and wall thicknesses and that looks pretty thin...
