Default TH350 issues

So I got my LS1 swap finished up and running but the TH350 I'm running behind it seems to be stuck in park. I can shift it through the gears and when i dropped the pan I can see the rooster comb moving and I've replaced the parking prowl with one from another tranny I have laying around. I thought it was the torque converter but I've unbolted it from the flywheel and it spins freely. Put it in neutral and it won't roll. Basically it is stuck.

Anyone have suggestions on troubleshooting this issue or what could be going on?? I picked up a th400 from a friend but will have to get a new yoke and prob shorten my driveshaft for it to work. Thanks in advance!!

Is this a rebuilt transmission? If you put it in neutral (at transmission), will the driveshaft spin by hand?

Jon, no it came from a friends car that it was working in (so he says). It sat in my garage for 2 years before using it in this swap.

When I put it in neutral it is still stuck. Have the rear on jack stands and tried to rotate driveshaft in all gears and nothing. I'm dropping the pan tonight to recheck all the linkage internally but last time I looked in there everything was moving internally like it is supposed to. I removed the parking pawl and it was still stuck in park btw

Sounds internal then. The only thing I believe prevents it from turning is the PAWL.

Thats what I was thinking too, didn't want to undergo a rebuild!!! Looks like I'll be putting in the TH400.
