Default Cam,intake,exhaust 5.3/4LXXE '85 C10! PIC HEAVY!!!

Been going on this project and thought it was time to let the cat outta the bag!!

'85 C10 long bed 2wd picked up for a cool grand
03 5.3 with 65K miles
228r cam
LS2 intake ,TB, Fuel rails, and injectors
Schoenfeld long tube headers
3 inch flowmaster stainless exhaust w/ 10 series duals dump in front of the tires
walboro 255
corvette filter regulator.
havent decided on tranny yet or found a decent one.
griffin radiator with electric fans
and a whole bunch of other fun go fast parts to come!

CLEANED THE HEADS WITH A RED SCOTCH BRIGHT PAD, AND A WIRE BRUSH ON THE FLAKY BLOCK PAINT

TRANS-DAPT motor plates and moroso tab things.



SHOULD HAVE NOOO CLEARANCE ISSUES WITH THESE





traded a guy my push bars for these! got bumper bolts with it too!

removed the drip rails, I'll get pics tomorrow while I'm working on welding some holes and filling in the side marker lights and the holes in the top of the bed

Wow nice build! I wish I had the space and time....and money to do a frame off right now but I still think mine will be badass. and hopefully a lot less rusty considering it's an Arizona truck.

Drip reail removed and holes welded shut.



gonna do some stock looking mini tubs!


Marker lights and emblems gone!


needs some more grinding and body work to look nice...

Switching from the Texas speed 228r cam to Comps ***** Thumpr Cam it's a 227/241, .563/546 on a 109 LSA paired with comps recommended beehive springs 5/16 7.400 push rods and maybe LS7 lifters. ALSOOO I GOT A 4L60E for FREE Thanks to my uncle who works at Napa

This big guy didnt wanna come out so a breaker bar and some steel tumbing mixed with a bar to hold the flex plate.
