Default Radiator Hose Question - Radiator Swap

I am putting a 5.3 LS engine and a Griffin radiator into my truck. The Griffin radiator has both coolant inlet and outlet on the passenger side of the vehicle. I'm having a hard time finding the right top hose for this setup. Do any of you know the part number for this hose I need?

Wish I could help you out, but I'm about a week away from addressing the same question with my Affco dual pass radiator. I'll be watching to see how other guys respond.

What lower hose did you use?

Your best bet is going to be to make a template of the shape of hose you need, and go to an autozone, or the like, and find one that matches. Thats what I did with mine, and I found some hoses that fit and were designed exactally the way I wanted. Good luck on your search. Eric L

Smile hose

X2 on prorac, your other option is to get stainless mandrel bends and make it for your needs with a short hose part on each end....welding required..

Speedway and Jegs sell aluminum hose connectors. Use the truck upper hose for ends and connect the two together with the aluminum couplers. Napa sells flexible hose in differant lengths and diameters too if you don't mind the appearance.

Any more ideas on this or part numbers? The guys at oRielly's let me search their wall of radiator hoses and I came up with nothing useful. I might have to buy a hose the right size with the right bends and then cut/splice with a nipple to get the shape right.

Thumbs up Radiator Part Numbers...

I read somewhere (too many forums to keep straight) anyhow, I read somewhere that the part numbers are as follow. The lower hose is a Goodyear # 60867 and the upper hose is a Goodyear # 61331. Yes, I end up answering the question to my own post.

Just going off the google images those look like they could work. You definitely helped me out, even if you did find the answers to your own question. Thanks a ton!

Can't help with that application, but I just put the same radiator in my '69 Camaro today. Took the guys at Autozone all of 10 minutes to find hoses that worked perfectly with my coat hanger templates.

Dayco 71500 and 71796. The lower only uses half of the overall hose, so don't be surprised by how big it looks when you see it.
