Default I have the opposite issue

Mine seals up great when pressurized, but if you push the outlet in, it sprays fuel everywhere. So, with steel braided PTFE hose attached, if that hose moves just a little inward, it sprays fuel. WTH? I have the kit from Speedway Motors.

Sorry for picking up an old thread. I bought my filter/regulator kit with Russell AN6 fittings on eBay, and i have the same concern..

The output side adapter can be pushed in and out a bit after i plugged it in. I may just fire up the fuel pump to see if it's leaking, once i have connected the fuel line to the fuel rail on the car. Hopefully i'm lucky, but it seems odd..

In and out movement of the outlet side will not cause leaks. There is an o-ring inside the filter that seals against the O.D. of the tubing.

Thanks. It's not the end of the world anyway, i will probably check all the hoses anyway when i fire up the pump the first time.
