Hi im new to Ls1tech. Ive read thru alot of threads on here about swapping in a ls1 into my 81 vette. I currently got a ls1 out of a 98 Camaro ss. i got a smoking deal on the engine. Came with all accessories and radiator and fans. I've already got the wire harness made into a stand alone. My question is my head lights are vacuum operated. How should I hook up the vacuum lines to the motor? And my year vette had a lock up torque converter. Would the stock brake switch on the brake pedal be fine with the 4l60e trans or would i have to get a different one? I plan on keeping the motor stock for now. no major mods just yet but got plans in the future.
