Good Job!
I dont know why this isnt more popular. It takes care of so many problems. I used a module from a front drive car and put in a new pump, and am very happy.

Not sure either. I am very happy with the results. Just need to figure out how I am going to address that the assembly is contacting my trunk. I more than likely am going to make an access hole for easy removal.

Once of the problem is that the 4th Gen pump setup is a bit deep. But bucket requires a good 7". Also problem that might require notching/putting a tray and that will lower the pump even lower and required it to be shorten more.

It would have to be modified / shorten to fit into many 1st Gen F-Body, Early A-body and 3rd gen X-body and older.

It also has its limitation as some engine that are FI or N02 may require more than the bucket setup can provide. Might also mod it for duel pumps, that might help some.

But it can be shorten as some have posted that they have.

If you need to shorten it up a bit, cut the two "guide tubes" and then re-flare the ends. The springs can also be cut shorter.

I did check this out a while back. But even with the rod shorten.. the bucket fully depressed against the top of the sender. My 71' Nova Tank was still not deep enough to fit the 4th gen. .It would have also come down to shorting up the Bucket and hoses also. as I stated before.. it has been done before.

just trying to make sure all is aware of what is involved and what the problems are. I myself ended up with the TanksINC PA4 setup for the Nova.

I am not disagreeing with anything you said. I too was trying to give a little more information. This is the conversion & hybrids forum and there are all kinds of vehicles with all sizes and types of tanks. Some may even be better served by a large truck module like this one.

For me the best solution would be to find a fuel injection (plastic) tank from a late model that would fit.

I am not trying to say that this setup will work with all conversions. That is why I stated that it was for 2nd Gen Fbody's in the title. The Vetteworks adapter is made specifically for C3 and 74-81 2nd Gen Fbody's. It may or may not work with others. Just giving some additional options other than running an external pump with corvette reg/filter.
