I would guess mid-low 13s, depending on traction and gearing. My Z (around 3200 lbs) did 13.7 @ 104 on a stock 5.3/TKO600 with worn out subframe bushings and bald tires. That was also my first time on a drag strip.

In my 2001 camaro ss 6 speed i ran a 13.2 totally stock. The mustang is lighter so i would say high 12's to low 13's.

The average 300 rwhp Fox will trap 110-112 mph. Your ET will depend on how well it's set up and how well you can drive it.

That trap speed, driven and set up adequately, should be mid 12's. Driven well and set up well 112 mph could be a 12 flat.

This is the most accurate info I see listed. I've seen a bone stock anniversary ss run 12.7xs with DRs on the back so if you are going to have headers and a tune you should be quicker than that in good to average air.

That's what I was kinda thinking but I didn't know how much the weight would affect it. My last coupe was 2960 with an iron headed motor. I did get a PM from a member who said he went 12.0 with a fresh off the pallet, stock LS1/4L60 combo, 11.50 with a stall, and 11.90 with a 224 cam, 373s, and a set of DRs.

Depending on car and driver, fox Mustangs typically end up being between 2800 and 3200 lbs with driver.

My E7 headed stock 5.0 long block, T5, completely stock suspension with 10 hole wheels,1990 LX hatch was 3040 lbs with me in it after some weight reduction, and I was about 200 lbs. The weight reduction was the typical sound deadener, removal, off road exhaust, etc. At 240-ish rwhp it went 13.0's @ 103-104 mph nearly every pass on Nitto drag radials. On a 175 shot it went 120-122 mph through the traps depending on traction.

Rule of thumb for a typical street car setup and race weight is that adding 10 hp is the equivalent of reducing 100 lbs and is good for adding 1 mph on the trap speed.

I'll post tomorrow with track times. I've got a 1989 coupe with 2000 model LS1 all stock except for the truck intake. Its bolted to a turbo 350 with Coan 4000 stall converter, 3.55 gears and 26 inch tall tires. Car is full weight daily driver that weighs 3160 with me in it.

Ttt, interested in the times you ran. Also, what headers or manifolds?

I would at least put a stall in it... that alone is good for 1/2 second off your et even with a bone stock engine...

I always wondered this same thing. My 3600 pound ws6 went 12.40s @114 on regular radials with just a lid and Mac headers and have always thought that a LX coupe would run well into the 11s with a stock LS motor (6 speed) and some good tires. I would think a 3000 pound coupe with tires,CAI, headers and gears would run 11.30s/40s @120.

A stalled bone stock ls1 would definitely be into the 11's my 99 z28 went 12.1 with a 3500 stall and a set of drag radails and it went 12.7 completely stock
