I have been gathering info and parts to swap a 2000 5.3/4L60E into my 1982 C10. I had a 454/700R4 combo and was getting 8MPG and with the gas prices that combo had to go. I have been working on my harness and trying to decide if I want to go with the stock 5.3 fuse box or put my own...
Here is where I am if i keep stock...
I have Followed the pinout on LT1tech page.
Fan 1 in Blue 42
Fan 2 in Red 33
Cruise Red 13
All others marked in yellow were removed.
I cut and removed C100, C152, C153 with most pinouts and wires
I have these wires left and what I have questions about (Where to Go?).

Blue 58 Serial Data to OBD2 Port
Red 10 Tach, dont have stock. Going with an after market Tach
Red 13 Cruise
Red 46 Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Control Check engine
Red 50 Vehicle Speed Output Circuit 4K VSS Speedo

C1-A9 Pink... Can I run to one of the removed pink wires from C2?
C3-F1 Gray... Run this to the fuel pump to power it ON?

Red 38 PWM Fuel? Do I need in an 82?

Now If I use a more simple fuse panel
When I cut the C2 plug...
Pink is Key/Run
Orange is 12+
B7 Gn/Wht.... Fuel Relay
D11 Prpl........ Ignition
D12 Bk.......... Ground
F7 Bk........... Ground
My question is for the Trans Wires...
A9 LtGrn....... Back up light
E2 LtGn........ Park Neutral Position Safety Switch
F3 Gn/Bk....... Shift Interlock System
F6 Bk/Wht..... Engine Control Modual Ground
F10 Prpl/Wht.. Park Neutral Position Switch
F11 Ylw..........Neutral Safety Switch
Do I need any and where to run them?
