I just installed a set in my 78 vette LS. Worked out great. Pretty simple install. I lost my glove box when installing the vintage air so mounted the ECU there. I had to trim a couple places with dremel tool but no big deal. Easy to see in daylight and nice dim at night.

Just hooked up these gauges in my 63 nova today. I definitely recommend getting the OBD-II port module, because setup was a breeze. When you add the OBDII module you can pull the RPM, speed, engine temp, intake temp, and engine indicator all from the ECM.

One thing that is disappointing is that I could not get the gear position from my 4L60E using the OBD-II module.

Nearly 3000 miles on mine and still love them.

Can't beat them for looks, operation, and lsx compatibility unless you are building a custom dash or have a dash that will easily accommodate aftermarket gauges (70-72 Chevelle SS will not)

Nice gauges everyone! I have a set that I plan on using with my LS3/6L80. Theomms - were you able to pull up your oil pressure or did you use their sender? I'm hoping I can get gear position from my 6L80 since everything is internal.

I finally got my truck running and was pleasently suprised that I am able to get the gear indication from the 6L80. It displays as follows:

P
R
N
D
2

When I activate the TUTD function with my paddle shifters, the "2" changes and displays
"Gear 1", "Gear 2".........."Gear 6".

Pretty stoked about that. Now if I can figure out a way to get the BUS to display the oil pressure AND to allow me to scan while the gauges are hooked up, my mission will be complete..... Actually, I want one more thing. I want to be able to connect the CAN HI/CAN LOW wires directly to the VHX brain so the BIM module wouldn't be needed.......LOL.

Dad has 15000 miles on his no issues. Going to be installing them this spring on the z28. They are really nice.

I purchased a set for my Chevelle a few months ago, but haven't got around to installing them.
I plan to take my Chevelle down for a mini-makeover. I'm switching the TKO-600 out to a 4l80e, Installing the gauges, building a custom console for the new shifter, and replacing the Old Air Products A/C with a Classic Auto Air system.

Once I get around to building the Trans (purchased a Jakes Stage 2 Kit). I'll start the one.

What is making you switch AC units?
