5.3 turbo fox build, advice?
Planning a 90-93 lx fox, 5.3 single turbo th400 rmvb, thinking of going forged internals 383 stroker and pt88 or S480...
Looking for advice on swap and what kind of budget im looking at, any help or advice is very much appreciated

Mine is going to be around $25000 give or take. But spanky is right, it all depends on the quality of parts. For me everything is new besides the motor. 400 dollar motor turned into 3700 after the forged internals, boring, and head porting. I still need to do the turbo set up, fuel line, tran cooler lines, cage, radiator, and wiring. I've heard of people getting away with putting 10-15000 into this swap. Good luck

o.p. get you a stock 4.8/5.3. put arp main studs, arp rod bolts, arp head studs in it. use a ls6, or a tsp 224 cam. use ls9 head gaskets. get new main and rod bearings. file the top and second piston ring to .028. you can use a stock set of heads and port the exhaust side a little bit or you can go with a set of tsp cnc'd 2.5 heads. i would use a ls6 intake with a ported tb or a ls2 cable tb. get you some 80lb injectors if you are running gas. if you want to use e85 i would go with some 120's. find you some truck mani's and use them. the bw s480 is a good turbo to use.
suspension is the key. get you a tubular k-member and a-arms. good rear control arms with adjustable uppers. get good subframe connectors. get you some good drag shocks for the rear and some coil overs for the front. if you want to do a five lug conversion you can, but it isnt a must. but get you some good axles with c-clip eliminators.
im sure im leaving alot of stuff out, but that gives you a start and an idea.

That's a good start.
The turbo fox's seem to be pretty easy as long as you have somewhat decent fabrication skills. It gets slightly more difficult if you're wanting to keep AC and power steering though.

I'm in the process of building my 5.3, 76mm, semi build T56. I'm about 5k into it, after the harness is made, tuning, and other small parts i'll be 10k deep into it. I shopped around for some used parts, but all the big important stuff I bought brand new.
