dude!!!! glad you got it started, but you gotta be a bit more cautious. its your car and your life. both im sure hold a value to you. try not to lose either starting cars that way. on your cam question. yes there are many cam combinations that are out there that can be used without adding a converter. they are usually pretty mild cams and can give some gain, but the more the pay with these engines and swaps, the more your play. Enjoy carefully please!

Thanks. i will next time. i've been working on this for a long time i just wanted to hear it run. the sound that it made before it ran i thought it was metal to metal sound but as i thought about it. it became clear that it might be that i didn't tighten down the head bolts all the way. the sound that i think im hearing is air passing thur the gasket. like when you put your lips together real tight then blow. am i right anyone if not im in trouble

Good luck with your build man. You need to ask around the work place or something and find someone that knows more about motors than you for a go to guy.

That was one of those "hold my beer and watch this" stunts.

I'll say this the politest way I can..

No one here can help you, from what I can see already anything we type here will now help. You need help from someone that can give in-person hand-on technical assistance.

Worrying about Head Bolts and pumping what looks like gas in a water bottle straight into the Intake of an EFI Engine is NOT the level you need to be at when wanting to trust your life to a car you plan on driving after you build it on your own.

I would look around for some help. If you keep at this the way you are it looks to be a good candidate for a Darwin Award.
