Funny you posted that, I've started using my android w/ a bluetooth OBD2 dongle. The app I'm using it torque, the paid version is really good, basically as good as the ECU it's connected to so far as outputs. It seems my ECU has inputs for oil pressure and fuel level... those are the only inputs I'd need to completely replace my instrument cluster of single VDO gauges.

So getting those inputs wired in has been added to my project list for this summer. I'll still keep a speedo in for the odometer read out.

Get a pioneer radio that supports app radio, buy a bluetooth OBDII connector, download the dash command app and you will get your mind blown. It may even give you a thread count on your floor mats.
