Default Will LS9 fit under stock '62 Corvette hood?

Looking into doing a conversion and would like the "best". Might have
to settle for LS7...

I think it will be more of how the accessories are arranged on the motor more than anything else. You can always buy what you need. Just a matter of how much you want to spend.

I would bet yes.....like the other said its about accessories , dry sump tank, and what chassis your using. Almost everyone building such a car is using aftermarket chassis'. Are you?

Default Yes, new chassis will be used - Newman stuff.

My concern was the height of the engine..has to fit under the stock hood for me.

Vintage Air Front Runner stuff most likely. Stock looking on the outside...
except for the much wider wheels...
