it will be a couple of weeks before I get back to the car, I'm willing to get some numbers for you at that time if someone else doesn't chime in first. I should have a truck one that I remove as well as the camaro one on the car.

I used a stock LS1 water pump with spacers that I purchased from Mast Motorsports.
The truck water pump interfered with the L76 intake.

I am going to use a LS3 Intake. If anyone has any recommendations regarding parts combinations for water pumps, pulley setups, and accessory brackets, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank You,
Tory

LY6 with LS3 Intake and TB, L99 water pump, Holley Acc spacers and a/c bracket and a vette alt p/s brkt. Would have used the holley alt p/s brkt too but I already had the vette one.

I spoke to Gary at Texas Speed and Performance. I am definitely using one of their VVT Camshafts. Gary was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions while suggesting various options.

The truck and the '10+ Camaros have the same pulley spacing from the block due to the VVT components in the timing cover. It's not like the Gen III engines where the car pumps had the pulley closer to the block.

The LS3 intake will fit using the truck water pump and throttle body, by shaving a little material off the water pump where the upper neck presses in. I have an LY6 with an LS3 intake, but my intake is mounted backwards (tube chassis offroad race truck, forward-mounted air cleaner would be clogged shut within a mile).

Awesome info. Thank You, I really appreciate it.

I chose the VVT-4 Cam and I will be using a 3200 Stall Speed Converter.

My 55 Nomad project has changed direction again. I have the LY6, but it will now have a Supercharger. I would like to upgrade the bottom end, but the engine and transmission combo only has 20,000 miles. I was thinking of having a new bottom end built using a LSX Block as the foundation. As far as sensor locations are concerned, what differences are there between the LSX Block and Gen 4 Block? I already have my harness and want to make sure all of the sensors are in the same place, so wiring will not be an issue.

If I decide to go the LSX 376 route, will the ports on the cylinder heads match the ports on a LSA Supercharger?

Glad to see you working it after this much time I believe the ly6 and lsx 376 are both gen 4 based engines , having the same connecters and pugs , the lsx does not have vvt so the wiring will be slightly different , heads are very similar , if not identical , but with different springs and valves

I have decided to use a LSX 376 Block, Part Number 19260095.

Is a Main Girdle necessary when using a LSX Block?

http://www.dmperformance.org/ls6.html?1171930449750

Thank You for the advice.

It depends on how far you are going. Stock bottom ends are surviving 1000 WHP. You will bend rods and lift the heads before you need the girdle.
