I am in the process of swapping a LQ4 into my 1968 Chevelle. Does the alternator and truck intake clear the Stock SS hood? Thanks!

Depends on how you mount your engine.. many have been able to get the intake to clear the hood.

Other have had to mod the inner frame of the hood for the alternator and the intake.

If you set the engine deep in the frame you should get adequate clearance. I have a formula of parts that provide clearance for the Magnacharger with the stock hood. The alternator is not a challenge. You will need to change the PS pulley however, and your choice of oil pan will be critical.
